New contracts update
The FFT team has been busy securing new contracts in multiple verticals including transport, oil & gas and country borders. Here’s a snapshot of some of just some of the new opportunities:
- Working with Siemens Limited, Aura Ai-X will be deployed on a major Australian transport project to monitor and identify risks critical to the safe and efficient operation of
infrastructure. - Aura Ai-X has been selected to protect SMRT bus terminals in Singapore. The SMRT bus fleet comprised around 1,200 vehicles, with a total annual ridership of more than 226 million passenger journeys.
- Recognised as one of the largest gas fields in the world, Aura Ai-X will be installed to monitor Hassi R’Mel operated by national oil company Sonatrach. The gas field extends 70 kilometres from north to south and 50 kilometres from east to west.
- With a proven track record in intrusion detection technology for border security, Aura Ai-X will be deployed to monitor and protect a 70km stretch of a country border in Europe.
FY2025 highlights
On 27 August 2025, Ava Risk Group announces its full year results for the financial year ended 30 June 2025. Highlights included:
- Group revenue of $31.7 million, up 5% on the previous corresponding period (PCP)
- Underlying group EBITDA of $2.1 million1, up $3.0 million, with improvement reflecting margin gains and cost efficiencies
- Sales order intake of $29.9 million (FY2024: $35.3m)
- Expansion in strategically important industry verticals and key projects across sovereign border protection, airport perimeter detection, and transportation
- Sales order backlog of $6.4 million, including $2.6 million in contracted annual recurring revenue
- Cash balance of $5.6 million at 30 June 2025.

“We have built a market-leading technology platform, enhanced our commercial capabilities, developed a robust sales pipeline, and secured strong partners in key markets. With a stable cost base and a leading technology platform, Ava Group is well positioned to deliver improved growth in FY2026.”

Our APAC team recently showcased our Detect sensing technology at?Secutech+ Vietnam?in Ho Chi Minh City. The event drew more than 15,000 visitors and highlighted the latest in AI, IoT and ICT technologies driving smart applications across the country. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with key industry players in a rapidly growing market. Alongside potential end users from Vietnam’s defence and oil & gas sectors, the team also engaged with companies from Singapore, Taiwan, India and Laos to explore new opportunities.
GJD continues to have a full events calendar — exhibiting at the BSIA Autumn Forum at The Shard in London, completing the ADI International System Integrator Summit, joining SmartSD’s SST 2025 at the Musée de l’Air et de l’Espace in Paris, supporting ADI’s System Integrator Day in Lisbon, and connecting with partners and installers at Oprema’s Tech Day North. Ava Group recently hosted a distributor conference in Singapore, bringing together leading security specialists and partners from across the Asia-Pacific region. The event offered a valuable opportunity to share insights, discuss emerging market needs, and showcase how our innovative solutions are advancing critical infrastructure protection. Attendees explored the capabilities of Aura Ai-X and its advanced sensing platform that strengthens perimeter, pipeline, and data network security. The conference also reinforced partnerships with distributors who see the clear value Aura Ai-X delivers — combining intelligent detection and analytics to safeguard assets and infrastructure.
